Charlottenburg Palace with its baroque facade is an impressive backdrop for unique 3D- video art in every festival. This year there are three of these shows to be seen.
1. DIMENSIONS
Our partner TURISMO DE TENERIFE opens up the extraordinary charm of the island of Tenerife to the viewers with a beautiful 3D video show. The Spanish island has 43 nature reserves, which occupy almost half of the land area. Impressive volcanic landscapes, beaches in different colours, whales and dolphins in protected areas – the DNA of the island is incredibly diverse. With the illumination, the Turismo of Tenerife creates visual stimuli that immediately evoke emotions and make you want to travel to this beautiful island.

2. THE CONSCIOUS MACHINE
With the help of elaborate 3D animations and artificial intelligence, the facade of Charlottenburg Palace shows itself in futuristic visions. A hypnotic journey into the future, the realm of infinite possibilities. Here, the computer is not only an aid, but a creative creator at the same time. The show inspires dreaming and raises questions: Is the digital revolution, the emergence of artificial intelligence just the natural continuation of evolution? How long will it take until the next stage of development, until digital consciousness and artificial new personalities emerge?

3. CHILDREN’S DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE
German and Ukrainian refugee children make our hearts glow!
They painted their dreams for the future together in one afternoon and are now able to present them as small works of light art on the imposing castle facade in front of a large audience at the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS. The entire FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS team is particularly proud of this project!

4. RESONANCE
Resonance describes the phenomenon of increased amplitude that occurs when the frequency of an applied periodic force is equal or close to a natural frequency of the system on which it acts. The show explores an oscillating force applied at a resonant frequency of a dynamic motion picture system.
